Laura Taute joined Morgan Tidalgo Sukhodrev & Azzolino LLP in July 2018. Mrs. Taute started her legal career over sixteen years ago as a young legal assistant in a personal injury law firm in Las Vegas while attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Mrs. Taute graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2007 with a B.A. in Marketing and a Minor in Economics. Following college, she attended and graduated from California Western School of Law in 2011 where she achieved Dean’s Honors List and earned the opportunity to practice as an Attorney during her final year of schooling.
Prior to moving to the Bay Area, Mrs. Taute was an Assistant Public Defender in Georgia. As a Public Defender she was able to hone her litigation skills in the courtroom, setting her apart from her peers. Mrs. Taute handled cases from petty crime to murder and everything in between. Since moving to the Bay Area Mrs. Taute has practiced civil litigation and recently transitioned to family law.
As the spouse of a military service member, Mrs. Taute has had the privilege to live and practice law in several states. This rare opportunity allowed her a broader exposure in the field of law. In addition to California, she is admitted to practice law in Arizona and Georgia.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, wood working and exploring new places in the Bay Area.
