Helen Wang

Associate Attorney

Qianru (Helen) Wang joined Morgan Tidalgo Sukhodrev & Azzolino LLP as a San Jose family lawyer in June of 2019. Before joining the firm, Ms. Wang worked as an associate attorney for a civil litigation firm in San Francisco that primarily focused on personal injury and contract disputes.

Ms. Wang graduated from Indiana University Bloomington Maurer School of Law in 2017 with a J.D. and an L.L.M. degree.  During law school, she participated in various moot court and trial competitions and was a Quarterfinalist in the Domenick L. Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition.  She developed a passion for family law working as a domestic mediator at the Family and Children Mediation Clinic, where she helped indigent clients solve family law disputes and reach custody and financial distribution agreements. Ms. Wang has also worked in a variety of settings, including legal aid, government agencies, clinics, and non-profit organizations, for clients with issues related to criminal offenses, civil disputes, family conflicts, and immigration relief. Her diverse background has enabled her to tackle legal issues with a distinctly personable approach and perspective.

Ms. Wang believes that lawyers are important navigators and advocates in family conflicts and disputes. She enjoys working with clients from all walks of life and is committed to delivering high-quality and effective legal representation during such a particularly difficult time.

Ms. Wang is a member of the State Bar of California, the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Silicon Valley, and the Chinese American Lawyers of the Bay Area. Ms. Wang is also a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer who cares and advocates for abused and neglected children in foster care.

Ms. Wang is a yogi, a foodie, a plant lover, and an international traveler. She is fluent in English and Chinese.
