Cristal Herrera joined Morgan Tidalgo Sukhodrev & Azzolino LLP in 2025. In her role as a legal assistant, Cristal is precise in her attention to detail and thoroughly familiarizes herself with each case. She also assists with the preparation and filing of legal documents, as well as other important projects that may arise in the case.
Cristal Herrera attended and graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies. During her time there, she wrote a letter to the Mercury News addressing the issue of police brutality in which she proposed ways that law enforcement agencies could build connections and foster relationships with and address historical misconception about the community through engagement. The letter is titled, “Deputies Inspired to Communicate with and Respect Everyone“ and was published on The Mercury News website. She was also part of the Chicanx/Latinx Organization where she helped with event organization.
Cristal continued to pursue her passion in law and went on to study at De Anza College and received her associate’s degree in paralegal studies. She was also part of the De Anza Latinx Association.
Cristal volunteers at a nonprofit organization for the distribution of food and clothes to those in need. Cristal also volunteers at her local church helping with the distribution of donations.
