Shehnaz Khan joined MTSA in September 2016. She has worked exclusively as a family lawyer for the past eight years. In addition to running her own private practice, Shehnaz also worked at the Santa Clara County Facilitator's Office for over 6 years, assisting self-represented parties with a myriad of legal issues. She has vast experience with dissolution and parentage actions, involving such issues as child and spousal support, child custody and visitation, division of property, and domestic violence issues.

As a 40 hour certified domestic violence counselor and a 40 hour trained mediator, Shehnaz has demonstrated her commitment to helping clients through very difficult times, and she now brings that commitment to the clients of MTSA. She has volunteered and participated with the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Family Justice Program, as well as with other domestic violence organizations over the years, and has been of immense assistance to hundreds of Santa Clara County men and women over the years

A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Shehnaz was a Campbell Moot Court semi-finalist and board member. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in Actuarial Math. Shehnaz is a member of the California and Michigan State Bar Associations.
